This beautiful polymer clay barrette/hairclip is approximately 3-1/4 inches long and 5/8 inch wide. It is curved over a large sized barrette back that has a metal insert for thinner hair that can be removed for thicker hair. There are seven different colors of denim blue colored polymer clay in this barrette. When I made the colored pattern I wanted it to match any color of denim. I went through my closets and found the broadest range of denim colors and mixed clay to match those colors. Every place you see a different color, it's a different piece of clay that was sandwiched together to form that design. This range of colors makes the barrette chameleon-like in that it will go with any clothing in that color range. The barrette is precision finished with a fine texture and is a work of art.
